HOW TO : MAKE A MCDONALD'S STYLE FRAPPE

I love McDonalds frappe's but in the town we live in there is no McDonalds so I have to I improvise if I'm in the mood for caramel frappe's. Note: This recipe uses cups but even if you're not American you can either convert cups online or ordinary measuring jugs should have cups up the side

  • What you'll need (for 2 servings):
  • A blender
  • 2 cups of ice
  • 1/2 cup of milk (but if you like weaker coffee add another 1/4 in)
  • 1/2 cup of strong coffee
  • 2tbsp of sugar
  • 2tbsp of caramel (I used specialised coffee caramel but to decorate it you may want to use squeeze caramel in a bottle
  • 2 scoops of vanilla ice-cream
  • Whipped cream (to decorate)
  1. Blend every together (it takes about 10 minutes in my blender but it's old and rubbish and I spilled coffee all over it and it may be broken) until it's really smooth. If you don't blend it enough you'll have a thick paste full of massive ice cubes so be careful.
  2. Serve in a tall glass and top with cream and caramel
  3. Note: You have to use full fat milk or the flavour isn't as strong
  4. Note: It won't taste exactly like McDonalds but this one has less calories in it
  5. Note: You don't have to use ice-cream however it makes it sweeter and I would advise the use of it

Enjoy
